Four Simple Goals Before 2013
I love reading different blogs all over the internet and one of my new faves is http://www.abeautifulmess.com ! It is two sisters who post all sorts of different and great blogs in many different theme groups. Recently they posted a blog about making four simple goals before 2013. The best thing about these goals is that they are meant to be simple and activity oriented goals. You can read more about how to make 4 simple goals before 2013 by clicking on the picture above. I definitely think goal setting is a great way to accomplish things in life. Many of the most successful people in the world have written about the fact that making goals followed by action plans is the best way to get things done, and I fully agree with them!
Until the end of the year I will be trying to accomplish these four simple goals. I will update you along the way to track my progress!
My four goals:
1. Eat 5-10 fruits and vegetable servings each day. Follow the Canadian Food Guide! I’m going to be planning meals out in advance to help bring this one to life!
2. Get 30 minutes of fitness each day! Go for walk, a jog, to the gym, pilates, yoga, anything, get moving!!
3. Work on my business plan for 30 minutes each day. This is like doing a project in school, if you do a little bit of work towards it each day, you don’t have to rush to get it all done just before it’s due!
4. Read for at least 30 minutes each day. Read a book, some blogs, a magazine article, the newspaper. It’s a good way to tune off the outside world for a bit and it’s not sitting in front of the TV!
…to be extra ambitious I added one more: #5. Get even more organized! (I already am pretty organized but I think I’m going to take it to a new level!) I’m going to be meal planning, outfit planning, to-do listing, making my living spaces more livable, and generally making my life a bit easier!
Are you a goal setter? Are you thinking about making four simple goals to accomplish before 2013? If you do, I’d love to hear what you’re going to take on and how it goes for you!
